Merrimack Baseball Hosting High School Clinic in January

Head coach Nick Barese and the Merrimack College baseball program have announced the date for its upcoming 2017 Warrior Winter High School Clinic.

The clinic will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, from 5 – 9 p.m. at Play Ball in Salem, New Hampshire. Position players are required to arrive at 5 p.m., while players attending exclusively as pitchers can arrive starting at 6 p.m.

Cost: $140 for position players, $120 for pitchers

About: This camp is designed for high school baseball players who are looking to play at the collegiate level. Anyone in the Class of 2018 or younger may attend. Players will learn about all aspects of the game, both offensively and defensively. The goal is to improve their skills in areas ranging from pitching, throwing, hitting and fielding. Players will learn to improve on their game as they prepare for the spring season, along with getting ready to play college baseball.

Coaching Staff: The clinic coaching staff will include the entire Merrimack College Baseball coaching staff along with members of the baseball team.

Eligibility: High school players in the Class of 2018 or younger! Players attending ONLY as pitchers are asked to arrive at 6:00 p.m. and only are required to pay $120.

Equipment Needed: Bring your own personal equipment for use including: fielding glove, bat (preferably wood), and batting gloves (Catchers bring your own catching gear). TURF/RUNNING SHOES ONLY!
