Twins Project O’Rourke Will Be Ready For Spring Training

The Minnesota Star Tribune reported last week that the Minnesota Twins believe former Merrimack pitcher Ryan O’Rourke will be ready to go by spring training after missing all of this past season with Tommy John surgery.

O’Rourke was in Fort Myers last week to continue his recovery program, and the paper reported that he has plans to return to Florida throughout the winter to complete his rehab. The Twinkie Town blog also wrote that O’Rourke should be a lock for the Twins roster in 2018. According to the site, O’Rourke was penciled in to be a “major factor” in the late innings.
