Minnesota Receives Verbal Commitment From 13-Year-Old
The University of Minnesota men’s hockey team received a verbal commitment from a 13-year-old on Thursday, as well as his 14-year-old brother.
The Gophers received a verbal commitment from ’04-born Cruz Lucius and ’03-born Chaz Lucius, according to the Twitter account for Gentry Academy, the school where the players attend and play hockey.
According to the Minnesota Star Tribune, it’s believed the Lucius brothers are the two youngest commitments in Minnesota history.
Minnesota assistant coach Scott Bell tweeted on Thursday: “Landed two big ones today! Welcome to the #Gophers!”
