Tale of the Tape: Merrimack at Stonehill (Week 4)

Merrimack College travels south this Saturday night for a game against Stonehill, under the lights at W.B. Mason Stadium (6 p.m.).

Merrimack freshman quarterback Joe Capobianco enters the game ranked second in the Northeast-10 with 284.3 passing yards per game, and he leads the league with eight touchdown passes. The Warriors’ Frankie Dunn leads the NE-10 with three touchdown receptions and Jere Brown is fourth in the league with 81.0 yards per game receiving.

Saturday night’s game will feature two of the top running backs in the NE-10 going head-to-head. Stonehill’s Colin Markus leads the league in rushing with 116.3 yards per game and Merrimack junior Armond McRae isn’t far behind, ranked second in the league with 110.0 yards per game. McRae is tied for second with three rushing touchdowns while Marks is fifth with two scores.
