According to his profile on Hudl, Venter is 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds, running a 4.54 40-yard dash.
This past season, he set a Thayer record with 378 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a win over Middlesex.
“He’s an outstanding runner as it is,” Thayer coach Jeff Toussain told the Patriot Ledger. “He always makes guys miss, usually more than one. He was amazing. Cuts back. Great vision. Very elusive. Physical kid. Only about 5-7, but he’s very strong.”
As a junior in 2015, he averaged more than 200 yards per game on the ground, with 18 touchdowns.--
