Boston College sent out the following press release on Tuesday announcing the departure of sophomore defenseman Michael Campoli, who is leaving the program to “pursue other opportunities.”
“Boston College defenseman Michael Campoli has left the men’s ice hockey program for other opportunities.
The Pointe-Claire, Quebec native was a sophomore this season and played in 12 career games for the maroon and gold, finishing with a +7 rating along with an assist.”
Campoli later announced through Twitter that he will join the Penticton Vees of the BCHL.
Excited to announce a fresh start with the @PentictonVees ! Can't wait to join the team for the new year. Thanks to all my teammates, friends and everyone else at Boston College who made the last year and a half so memorable.
