The Merrimack men’s lacrosse program received a commitment from Newton North attack Hunter Adam.

Adam is the son of Newton North head coach Bussy Adam. His older brother, Bryce, is headed to Tufts this fall to play lacrosse and Hunter, according to recruiting websites, is considered one of the top juniors in Massachusetts.

“We know exactly what he’s capable of,” Bryce Adam told The Boston Herald after a state tournament game this past spring. “He stepped up big and he’s only 15 years old and he’s putting on a show out there against kids three years older than him.”

Adam is a recruit for 2019.
