Merrimack ranked No. 1 in USILA Division II Coaches Poll

The Merrimack men’s lacrosse team was ranked No. 1 in the nation in Monday’s USILA Division II Coaches Poll. The Warriors received 15 out of 17 first-place votes.

The Warriors took over the top spot from Limestone, which beat the Warriors in the Division II national championship game last spring. Limestone lost to No. 3 Lenoir-Rhyne in its opener last weekend.

Merrimack opens its season on the road this Saturday, traveling to No. 8 NYIT (1-0) at noon.
