Nipmuc Regional High School senior Max Morrill has committed to the Merrimack men’s lacrosse program. Morrill, an attackman, announced his commitment on Twitter Wednesday afternoon.

Morrill was one of the top players in Central Massachusetts last season. According to the Boston Globe, he scored 50 goals as a junior and added 27 assists.

After a trip to the 2017 National Championship game this past May, the men’s lacrosse program has had a tremendous fall on the recruiting front. Morrill joins recent commits Brendan Hickey, an All-American out of Maine, Jack Richards (Austin Prep) and Sebastian Gruber, who is regarded as one of the top faceoff players available. Those commitments have all come in the last month. Two months ago, the team received a commitment from two-time Maine All-American Christian Glover.
