Jefferies joins fellow Merrimack recruit Declan Carlile, who was selected by the Lincoln Stars in the second round of the Phase II Draft earlier in the day.

Jefferies, a Lunenburg, Mass. native, played this past season for the Islanders HC U16 team, scoring 37 goals and adding 22 assists for 59 points in just 28 games.
