Babcock Invited to New York Islanders Development Camp

Merrimack rising senior Michael Babcock has been invited to development camp with the New York Islanders, which kicked off on Monday at the Northwell Health Ice Center.

The prospects will be split into two groups – blue and white – for daily skates from Tuesday-Saturday, and the teams will scrimmage on Thursday night.

Babcock appeared in 37 games last season for Merrimack, scoring two goals and adding one assist. Babcock is already up over the 100-game threshold (111 games) in just three seasons. Thus far, Babcock and Johnathan Kovacevic (Winnipeg Jets) are two Warriors scheduled to skate in NHL Development Camps this summer.
