Bigos Moves to the Jacksonville Icemen (ECHL)


Former Merrimack defenseman Kyle Bigos was traded by the Quad City Mallards to the Jacksonville Icemen yesterday for financial considerations.

Bigos, 28, has appeared in 39 games this season for the Mallards, scoring two goals and adding six assists to go with 48 penalty minutes. Bigos is a veteran of 143 ECHL games, scoring 34 points from the blue line (6 goals, 28 assists) and 251 penalty minutes. At Merrimack, Bigos appeared in 133 career games, scoring 14 goals and adding 33 assists for 47 points; Bigos is the Merrimack career record holder with 457 NCAA penalty minutes.
