LeBlanc Re-Signs with Orlando Solar Bears

Former Merrimack forward Chris LeBlanc has re-signed with the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL) for the 2018-19 season.

LeBlanc skated in 60 games for the Solar Bears last season, scoring 10 goals and adding 11 assists. The 24-year-old elevated his game in the playoffs, where he led the team in scoring with four goals in nine games.

Prior to joining the Solar Bears, LeBlanc played in 13 games for the Wichita Thunder and the AHL’s Binghamton Senators to close out the 2016-17 season, after his senior season concluded at Merrimack. In 113 career games with the Warriors, LeBlanc scored 22 goals and added 26 assists; he was a sixth-round selection of the Ottawa Senators in the 2013 NHL Draft.

The Solar Bears are the ECHL affiliate of the Tampa Ba Lightning and the Syracuse Crunch (AHL).
