Marco Rosa Signs Contract with HC Asiago

Former Merrimack captain Marco Rosa has signed a contract with HC Asiago of the Alps Hockey League. Asiano is based in Asiago, Veneto, Italy and has been around since 1935. The current head coach of the team is former NHL goaltender and Boston native, Tom Barrasso.

Rosa, 35, is entering his sixth season overseas after a eight-year professional career in North America. Last season, Rosa was a teammate of Mike Collins with Krefield (DEL), where he scored 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists) in 45 games. Rosa spent the last four seasons in the DEL (Germany), totaling 111 points (40 goals, 71 assists) in 172 games.
