Video: Merrimack Recruit Logan Halladay Raffles Off Mask For Down Syndrome Foundation

The season-long charity raffle for Logan Halladay‘s specially designed helmet raised $6,120 for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, the Bloomington Thunder announced in a press release. Halladay will be a freshman at Merrimack this upcoming fall.

Megan Puglise, who has Down syndrome and was part of Halladay’s billet family when he played with the Chicago Young Americans in 2012-13, was the inspiration behind Hallday’s mask, and she dropped the ceremonial face off on Friday night.
