Both Michael Kesselring and Jonathan Young were on the list. Both players were born in 2000 and will be playing locally this upcoming season. Kesselring will be a senior at New Hampton Prep in New Hampshire while Young, also a New Hampshire native, is playing for the Islanders Hockey Club NCDC team, which is playing its home games at Lawler Rink at Merrimack College.

Kesselring, a 6-foot-3 defenseman, scored 28 points (8 goals, 20 assists) in 30 games for New Hampton last season. Young appeared in 27 games for the Islanders 16U team last season, scoring a whopping 50 points (16 goals, 34 assists). Both Young and Kesselring took part in USA Hockey’s Select 17 Festival this past summer.
