Northeastern loses another recruit


Northeastern recruit Justin Kovacs, a 5-foot-10 center out of Cedar Rapids (USHL), has decommitted to to the Huskies.

He’s the latest in a slew of recruits backing out on their commitments after former head coach Greg Cronin resigned to take an assistant head coaching job with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Kovacs had 59 points (17 goals, 42 assists) in 58 games this season. He is now free to commit to another NCAA program.

The ’91 birthyear had 32 points in 20 games in the NAHL last season with Topeka.

    Hey Mike, have enough of the teams released schedules yet to fill out the majority of the full home and away schedule?
