Merrimack boasted six different point-scorers on Saturday and three separate two-point nights (Gustafsson, Christie, Bahe) … Freshmen Brett Seney and Mathieu Tibbet also earned assists on the night … Senior Rasmus Tirronen fell to 10-9-2 after turning away 21 shots, while Morrison improved to 6-7-2 with a 28-save effort … Merrimack outshot Maine by a 31-26 margin; the Black Bears totaled 17 of those shots in the second period and nine in the first and third combined … Both sides won exactly 35 faceoffs apiece.
