According to a report on SwissHockeyNews.ch, former Merrimack forward Stephane Da Costa should be back on the ice in the next 1-2 weeks after undergoing surgery late in the summer while training for an NHL return. According to the Tribune de Genève, Da Costa could make his debut on Nov. 2 against Lausanne HC.

Da Costa signed with Genève-Servette HC in the National League on Oct. 14. He was reportedly negotiating with the Montreal Canadiens but underwent surgery.
