Zach Uens Selected by Sioux Falls in USHL Draft

Merrimack men’s hockey recruit Zach Uens was selected in the 16th round of the USHL Phase II Draft on Tuesday by the Sioux Falls Stampede.

Uens, a ’01-born defenseman from Michigan, is teammates with Declan Carlile, a fellow Merrimack recruit who was selected in the second round of the draft earlier in the day. Uens and Carlile will play in the RBC Cup this upcoming weekend with the Wellington Dukes.

Uens has appeared in 81 games this season for the Dukes, totaling 11 goals and 17 assists (28 points).
