Merrimack Women’s Basketball Unveils 2021 Recruiting Class

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women’s basketball team and head coach Monique LeBlanc have announced the program’s three-member recruiting class for the class of 2021. The incoming Warriors will join the program beginning in the fall of 2017.

The three-player incoming class features student-athletes all from the New England area with versatile and successful backgrounds playing in the local high school circuit. The group includes a state champion from New Hampshire, a sectional champion from Woburn and a local star from Andover High School.

The trio will join a program that returns a core of 11 returning student-athletes, 10 of which are rising sophomores and juniors for a team that reached the Northeast-10 Conference Quarterfinals last season.

“We are thrilled to be adding three local stand-outs to our Merrimack family. Each of them possess a high-level work ethic, knowledge of the game, and a great skill-set in their respective positions,” LeBlanc said. “Not only will they be great additions to our team on the court, but they’ll be great citizens of the Merrimack College community.”
