The Merrimack College women’s soccer team is once again enjoying a preseason trip away from campus, as the Warriors are currently in Florida as part of a five-day training camp in the Sunshine State.

After leaving on Friday, the team arrived at Disney Pop Century Resort, where they are staying for the duration of their story. Upon their arrival on Saturday, the team fought the jetlag with a long run to get the blood flowing before returning to the resort for a light practice.

The Warriors then enjoyed a fun afternoon and evening at Disney’s Magic Kingdom (picture below), and the rest of the week will include a pair of scrimmages against Florida Southern on Sunday night and Rollins College on Tuesday afternoon.

Merrimack will return to campus on Wednesday afternoon with about a week and a half left in the preseason before the 2017 campaign gets underway. The Warriors open the season on Long Island on Sept. 1-3 when they compete in the Molloy Labor Day Weekend Tournament. Merrimack will play Dominican on Sept. 1 at 4 p.m. before facing the host Lions on Sept. 3 at 2 p.m.
