Merrimack baseball raises $7500 in Vs. Cancer campaign

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College baseball team culminated its annual fundraising efforts for Vs. Cancer this past Monday, donating a team-record $7,562 to the organization dedicated to ending childhood cancer and pediatric brain tumors.

The Warriors gathered on Monday evening for their annual “Shave Off” event, completing the team’s year-long fundraising efforts. Merrimack donated the most funds to date over the team’s four-year relationship with Vs. Cancer, and currently have raised the fourth most nationwide among college baseball programs.

The 2019 College Baseball Vs. Cancer initiative has raised north of $113,000 to date in the effort to end childhood cancer. For more information and to donate, please visit the Vs. Cancer website here.
