Pitcher Damon Fuller Commits to Merrimack

Left-handed pitcher Damon Fuller has committed to Merrimack College.

Slated to graduate from St. John’s Shrewsbury in 2021, Fuller has a fastball that ranges from 80-83 and also mixes in a curveball, changeup, splitter and slider.

Fuller also plays for Evolution Baseball’s AAU program.

“Another arm coming off the 2019 Futures Games, this 5-foot-11,180 pound left-hander has a controlled delivery,” said the Prep Baseball Report. “The arm is fluid and works from a lower ¾ slot. He too was getting ready for a showcase at Boston College the next day, so the fastball was sitting 75-77mph. The breaking pitch at 61-63mph was hit and miss, as he was on the side of it for most of the pen. The change-up was 69-70mph and looked good. This is a good looking left-hander. He has the chance to get outs at the next level.”
