Merrimack College returned to the football field on Friday for the first time since November, when spring practices got underway.
The team will host 15 practices in total over the course of the next month and the season will culminate with the Warriors’ annual Spring Game, which is set for Saturday, April 25, at 2 p.m. at Martone-Mejail Field. Admission to the game is free of charge, and fans will have the opportunity to purchase 2015 Season Tickets and Season Parking Passes, as well.
For Merrimack, which posted four victories in the 2014 season, the spring brings the opportunity to begin preparations for the following season and improve in all facets of the game. The Warriors will return eight starters on both sides of the gridiron; more importantly, after being hit particularly hard by the injury bug, the team is mostly healthy heading to the spring and will welcome the return of three starters returning from injuries that cost them most of the fall season.
The 2015 schedule will be unveiled on Wednesday, April 8, and details on season ticket and parking pass packages will be available then, as well.
