Avon Old Farms linebacker Drew Monin announced this past weekend that he has narrowed his college search down to four schools, and Merrimack is one of the programs he’s listing.

What makes this notable is the company the Warriors are with on Monin’s list. On Saturday night, Monin tweeted that his final list of choices includes the Warriors, Nebraska, Rutgers and Virginia Tech.

Monin was a beast at the prep level, recording 351 career tackles and 78 tackles for a loss. He was named All-Erickson League linebacker three times in his career, totaling 12.5 sacks and a whopping 15 forced/recovered fumbles.
