Merrimack Football Will Host Holy Cross Next Season

Holy Cross released its football schedule earlier this week, and it includes a Sept. 5 game at Duane Stadium. The game will mark the first time Holy Cross and Merrimack meet on the gridiron.

Merrimack’s 2020 football schedule already includes games against UNH and James Madison. Through other teams releasing their schedule, here is what we know about Merrimack’s 2020 slate:

Sept. 5 – vs. Holy Cross
Oct. 3 – @ New Hampshire
Nov. 21 – @ James Madison

The Crusaders went 7-6 last season as a member of the Patriot League. While unconfirmed, it’s likely that Merrimack will return the trip to Worcester in a future season and play a game at Fitton Stadium, which is a 23,500-seat stadium. It originally opened in 1908 and underwent its most recent renovation in 2016.
