Merrimack WR Johnny Rosario in Transfer Portal

Merrimack wide receiver Johnny Rosario announced last month that he has entered the transfer portal and is leaving the Merrimack football program.

“I want to thank Merrimack College for letting me play D1 football,” he wrote in a message on Twitter. “It’s been a dream of mine ever since I was young. Also, I want to thank my teammates, crazy how close I’ve gotten with them int he last two years I’ve been here. Wish them nothing but blessings for the years to come. That being said, I’ll officially be entering the transfer portal and leave it in God’s hands for where I end up next.”

Rosario, a 6-foot-4 receiver out of Cambridge, Mass., caught 36 passes this season for 584 yards and four touchdowns. In his two seasons with the Warriors, Rosario caught 67 balls for 1,039 yards and nine touchdowns.
