Rosario Returns to Merrimack Football Program

Wide receiver Johnny Rosario announced on Tuesday that he is returning to the Merrimack football program. Rosario, who was second on the team in receiving last season behind Marquise Spence, had entered the transfer portal this past winter.

Rosario, a 6-foot-4 receiver out of Cambridge, Mass., caught 38 passes last season for 637 yards and five touchdowns. In two seasons as a Warrior, he has 1,092 yards on 69 catches with 10 touchdowns.

“I want to thank all of my teammates and the coaching staff for giving me another opportunity to be a part of the Merrimack College Football Program,” Rosario tweeted. “I have made my share of mistakes this past fall, but I am fully committed to using the L’s I took last fall/winter as lessons to become a better person and teammate. Beyond blessed for getting another opportunity to be a part of the Family, and I plan on making the most of my second chance.”
