Tale of the Tape: Saint Anselm at Merrimack (Week 5)

Merrimack will host St. Anselm on Saturday afternoon (1 p.m. kickoff), in an important Northeast-10 game.

The Warriors are 2-2, looking to bounce back from a late loss last week at Stonehill. St. Anselm is in the midst of one of its best starts in program history, starting the season 4-0.

Merrimack freshman quarterback Joe Capobianco leads the NE-10 in passing, throwing for 313.0 yards per game. St. A’s Yianni Gavalas is second in the league with 309.5 yards passing per game. The contest will also feature the top-two receivers in the league, with Merrimack’s Jere Brown averaging 102.0 yards per game and the Hawks’ Justin Bernard hauling in 98.5 yards per game.
