UMass forward Bobby Trivigno suspended for penalty against Merrimack

Hockey East announced today that Massachusetts freshman forward Bobby Trivigno has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at 12:48 of the second period on Saturday, October 27 at Merrimack. Trivigno was called for a contact-to-the-head major against the Warriors and was also assessed a game misconduct.

On Monday, Hockey East announced that Merrimack forward Sami Tavernier was suspended one game for a hitting-from-behind major called in the same game.

Trivigno will miss the game on Saturday, November 3 at New Hampshire and be eligible to return to the Minutemen’ lineup Thursday, November 8 against Providence.
