Graduating senior Ryan Boulter of the Merrimack College men’s basketball program has been selected to compete in the sixth annual Gotham Hoops Invitational, set for Saturday, April 27, on the campus of Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The showcase event hosts 36 of the nation’s top men’s basketball seniors for tournament play in front of fans and professional scouts. Notable players joining Boulter at the event are Northeast Conference Tournament MVP Darnell Edge, All-NEC Second Team selection Mike Holloway Jr. – both out of Farleigh Dickinson University – and Hofstra University’s All-CAA Defensive Team selection Jacquil Taylor.

Boulter finished his career as one of the most successful student-athletes to play at Merrimack. The Mansfield, Mass. native is tied for the winningest athlete in school history (76 wins), and was one of eight players in program annals to play in three different NCAA Tournaments. He was named the NE10 Championship’s Most Valuable Player, leading the Warriors to their first conference tournament crown in 19 years just one month ago.

The sharpshooter was a Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team selection in 2018-19, finishing the year as NE10’s top 3-point shooter with a career-high 103 makes. He was the first Warriors to hit over 100 3-pointers in a single season since 1996. Boulter averaged 14.4 points per game to rank second on the team in scoring, and finished his career 16th all-time in program history in scoring with 1,429 career points.

Games beginning at noon on Saturday, April 27, with a pair of semifinal contests followed by a consolation game at 4 p.m. and the Invitational’s Championship Game at 6 p.m. Admission is free for spectators, and games will also be streamed on GothamHoops.com.
