Joey Jorgenson committed to Merrimack College

The Merrimack men’s lacrosse team picked up its second big verbal commitment in as many days, as 2020 defenseman¬†Joey Jorgenson¬†announced on social media that he’s committed to the Warriors.

Jorgenson, a Virginia native who plays for Madison High School, is 6-foot-3 and 175 pounds. Jorgenson, who is also a football player, was named First Team All-Concorde District last season and All-Region Second Team, helping lead Madison to a Class 6 State Championship. Jorgenson was named an all star at the 2019 Liberty National Elite Showcase.

According to¬†The Washington Post‘s statistics, Joey Jorgenson had 28 ground balls last spring.
