Joey Jorgenson committed to Merrimack College

The Merrimack men’s lacrosse team picked up its second big verbal commitment in as many days, as 2020 defenseman Joey Jorgenson announced on social media that he’s committed to the Warriors.

Jorgenson, a Virginia native who plays for Madison High School, is 6-foot-3 and 175 pounds. Jorgenson, who is also a football player, was named First Team All-Concorde District last season and All-Region Second Team, helping lead Madison to a Class 6 State Championship. Jorgenson was named an all star at the 2019 Liberty National Elite Showcase.

According to The Washington Post‘s statistics, Joey Jorgenson had 28 ground balls last spring.
