Merrimack Lacrosse Adds Two Big Recruits

Merrimack men’s lacrosse coach Mike Morgan has been busy lately, adding key pieces for the 2021 and 2022 classes. That work continued this week with the addition of Whit Molloy, a midfield transfer from Jacksonville and defenseman Reid Betner from Indiana.

Molloy is from South Carolina and was a freshman at Jacksonville.

Betner is considered one of the best poles in the Midwest region and committed to the Warriors over Bryant, High Point and St. Joe’s.

Betner is for the 2022 class and Molloy will join the program this upcoming spring. Betner is the third addition to Merrimack’s 2022 class.

Mike McMahon is in his 13th year covering Merrimack College for The Eagle Tribune and is the founder and managing editor of The Mack Report. Mike also serves on staff as a senior writer at College Hockey News. Follow him on Twitter @MikeMcMahonCHN
