Merrimack men’s lacrosse inks four more on NLIs

After announcing nine early signees during the November signing period, head coach Mike Morgan of the Merrimack College men’s lacrosse team is pleased to welcome four more future Warriors who signed national letters of intent (NLI) over the past month.

The newest Warriors will help usher in the program’s first season in the Division I era as a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC) in 2019-20. There are two attack, a midfielder and a faceoff specialist in the quartet, and altogether they represent four different states: one each from Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey  and Wisconsin. All four of them have earned their share of state, regional and conference accolades, in addition to helping their teams reach high levels of success, as well.

Morgan on Caron: “Andrew has a slick stick, good vision and is a good shooter from the outside. He plays with a high-level of IQ and he’s very savvy. He has a quick first step and is solid on the run as a feeder and also as a shooter.”

Morgan on Ford: “Joey is a skilled scorer who can do so off the dodge, as well as from the inside. He has a heavy shot and also really smooth hands inside. He has good size and uses it well in his game.”
