Mikey Kloepfer commits to Merrimack

Mikey Kloepfer, who is currently one of the top offensive players for Leading Edge, recently announced his commitment to the Merrimack men’s lacrosse program.

Leading Edge is one of the top club programs in the Tri-State area. Kloepfer is a mid who can also play attack and he also suits up for Scotch Plains Fanwood High.

Kloepfer has played in Nike National All Star Games, was the MVP of the Iron 44 Combine and was selected as an All-Tournament selection at The Players Series Showcase.

“Kloepfer is the classic case of ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover,'” wrote Inside Lacrosse. “What he lacked in size he made up for in polish as a dodger and his two-handedness. He did a great job of bouncing and re-attacking, never letting the slider get to his hands. From the bounce, he could re-attack or roll back to his left and sting it. One of the highest-scoring midfielders at the event.”
