Men’s Soccer Celebrates Senior Day on Sunday

    NORTH ANDOVER, Mass – The Merrimack men’s soccer team concludes its historic season on Sunday with an NEC matchup against Bryant. The Class of 2019 will be celebrated for their Senior Day, as they play its final game at Martone-Mejail field at 1 p.m.

    Five Things to Know:

    • The Class of 2020 totaled a career record of 54-12-10 during an amazing four year span for the men’s soccer program. This includes 2 NCAA tournament appearances and a regular season title during the program’s inaugural year of Division I soccer
    • Senior Aasmund Joedahl is tied for second on the team in points this season with 12 points, coming from five goals and two assists. This puts his career numbers at 16 goals, five assists, and 37 points
    • Graduate student Lucas Rezende has a career record of 47-10-6 as a goalkeeper, collecting 153 saves throughout his career and posting 21 shutouts.
    • Merrimack is 1-5 against Bryant, with all six games played at the Division II level, this will be the first Division I matchup between the schools
    • Bryant is ranked fourth in the NEC and has clinched a spot in the NEC Tournament with a conference record of 5-3
