’98 forward Ryan Nolan commits to Merrimack

Merrimack has received a commitment from 1998-born forward Ryan Nolan, who is currently in his second season with the Victoria Grizzlies in the British Columbia Hockey League.

This season, Nolan has 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists) in 32 games for the Grizzlies. The 6-foot-1 forward had 17 points in 47 contests last winter.

Prior to joining the Grizzlies, Nolan played two seasons at Lake Forest Academy, which is a member of the Midwest Prep Hockey League. In 17 games his senior season, Nolan had 22 points (15 goals, 7 assists) and he won a league championship in 2017.

Nolan is an Illinois native and he had three goals in a pair of wins this past weekend. He is in his final year of junior eligibility, and will, therefore, arrive at Merrimack next fall.
