Clayton Jardine added to Canada West’s Staff for Jr. A Challenge

Former Merrimack forward Clayton Jardine has been named to the coaching staff of Team Canada West, which will compete at the World Junior A Hockey Challenge in December.

Jardine, who is currently the head coach of the Camrose Kodiaks (AJHL), was named the SJHL Coach of the Year last season after he guided the Kindersley Klippers to a 35-15-3-2 record.

The 28-year-old, who graduated from Merrimack in 2015, was hired as the Kodiaks head coach this past May. Jardine is a former Kodiak player, helping the organization win two RBC Cups and he competed for Team Pacific at the World Junior A Challenge in 2008.
