Clayton Jardine Named GM/Head Coach of Kindersley Klippers

Clayton Jardine will take over active duties as General Manager/Head Coach of the Kindersley Klippers for the 2018-19 season. Jardine, who graduated from Merrimack in 2015, previously served as the Klippers assistant coach in 2015-16. He spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at New England College.

Klippers President Brett Sautner believes Jardine will allow the Klippers to not miss a beat.

“It’s nice to have someone that we trust and is familiar with the organization and can pick up where Geoff left off,” Sautner said. “We’re not looking to rebuild here, I think over the next couple of years we think we can really run for a championship. Anybody that knows (Jardine) knows he works hard, and will do a good job. It will be a good fit.”

Alongside Clayton Jardine, Assistant Coach Larry Wintoneak will return to the team this upcoming season.
