Coach Borek has been coaching in college hockey since he was a student at Dartmouth in 1983. We talked about how an injury during his playing career with the Big Green prompted his move to coaching and then touched on all of his stops along the way. We also talked about how recruiting has changed since he started, how developing personal relationships in recruiting is harder now, but it’s so important. Coach Borek has worked for some of the biggest names in college hockey, from Lou Lamoriello to coaches like Mike McShane, Dick Umile, Jeff Jackson, and more.
