Former Merrimack goaltender Collin Delia will start for the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at the United Center against the Nashville Predators. The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network across the country.

Delia has started in five games since getting recalled to the NHL roster last month, and he has posted a 2.19 goals-against average and a .947 save percentage. Delia was recalled after Corey Crawford was sent to injured reserve with a concussion.

Delia, 24, has made at least 32 saves in all five of his starts, and he’s made 40 saves or more in three of his five starts. Last Thursday, Delia made 50 saves in a 3-2 loss to the New York Islanders in overtime, and then he made 42 saves in a loss to the Calgary Flames on Monday.
