Merrimack sophomore forward Logan Drevitch won a tight race with Tyler Irvine to be named the 2020 TMR Most Improved/Comeback Player of the Year. The TMR awards are annual awards voted on by readers of The Mack Report.
Drevitch doubled his offensive production in his sophomore season, finishing with 18 points (7 goals, 11 assists) in 34 games after finishing with nine points as a freshman. Drevitch also finished with 77 shots on goal after putting 49 shots on goal as a rookie. Four of Drevitch’s goals came on the power play.
Drevitch becomes the second forward in a row after Irvine won the award last year (if he had won again he would have been the only two-time winner of this award).
The official team awards will be handed out at the program’s banquet.
