Former Merrimack forward Ludvig Larsson wasn’t originally invited to NHL camp with the New Jersey Devils when he signed his AHL deal with the Binghamton Devils this offseason.
However, after a strong showing in the Devils rookie camp and tournament, which took place in Buffalo this week, Larsson was informed by New Jersey assistant general manager Tom Fitzgerald that he had an invite to NHL training camp.
In the final game of the rookie tournament, Larsson scored the game-tying and game-winning goal for the Devils.
