The Merrimack men’s hockey team is scheduled to face Dartmouth on Thursday, Dec. 10, at Thompson Arena in Hanover, N.H.

The Warriors are 5-9-2 all-time against the Big Green, with the last meeting coming on Jan. 3, 2016 as part of the Ledyard Bank Classic at Thompson Arena (a 3-0 win for Dartmouth). Dartmouth is scheduled to return the one-game trip to Lawler Arena for a non-conference game in the 2021-22 season, and that will mark the first trip for the Big Green to Lawler Arena since Nov. 3, 2002 (a 4-3 win for the Warriors).

The Merrimack-Dartmouth series dates back to Dec. 6, 1972m when Dartmouth beat Merrimack 13-2 in Hanover. The Warriors came back two seasons later (Nov. 25, 1974) and beat the Big Green, 2-1.

The Warriors are 1-5-1 all-time against Dartmouth on the road and 3-3-1 all-time against the Big Green at Lawler Arena.

Dartmouth finished this past season 13-14-4. Dartmouth head coach Bob Gaudet announced his retirement a few weeks ago after 32 seasons. The Big Green are in the process of hiring a new head coach.
