Pregame: Nolan Takes Walsh’s Spot in Merrimack Lineup

NORTH ANDOVER — Ryan Nolan will take Liam Walsh‘s spot in the lineup tonight, as the Merrimack men’s hockey team hosts No. 7 UMass here at Lawler Arena. Last night the team’s skated to a 2-2 tie at the Mullins Center. With Walsh out and Nolan, a winger, being inserted in his place, Tyler Drevitch will move from the wing to the center position on that line.

Walsh was injured in the second period of last night’s game and did not return. He’s joined on the injured list by Patrick Kramer, who Merrimack head coach Scott Borek said last night could be out for the season.

Troy Kobryn will make his second straight start for the Warriors; he stopped 26 shots in last night’s tie against the Minutemen.

Jack Millea and John Gravallese will officiate tonight’s game; A.J. Potvin and Bob Bernard will handle the lines.
