Former Merrimack defenseman Ryan Cook was announced as part of the 2019-20 Niagara men’s hockey roster. We reported back in April that Cook intended to graduate-transfer to Niagara this season to finish his NCAA eligibility.

“All our transfers are still working through the process of getting clearance from the NCAA,” said a Niagara spokesperson. “As it’s still ongoing, we don’t have any updates on their statuses as of yet.”

Cook, who joins Croix Evingston (UMass Lowell) and Walker Sommer (Air Force), appeared in 73 games for the Warriors over the last three seasons, scoring three goals and adding five assists from the blue line.
