Tyler Irvine named 2019 TMR Most Improved/Comeback Player of the Year

Merrimack forward Tyler Irvine was named our 2019 TMR Most Improved/Comeback Player of the Year on Wednesday after receiving 76.83 percent of the fan vote.

The TMR Awards are yearly postseason awards voted on by readers of The Mack Report.

Irvine finished this season with 18 points (6 goals, 12 assists) in 34 games, setting a career high and nearly doubling his previous best as a freshman (10 points in 36 games). The Livonia, Michigan native played in all situations for the Warriors and was fifth on the team with 64 shots on goal.

Irvine has only missed one game in his collegiate career (as a freshman), appearing in 107 out of a possible 108 contests through his first three seasons, scoring 17 goals and adding 19 assists.
