Incoming Merrimack defenseman Zach Uens has been invited to development camp with the Vegas Golden Knights, which kicks off this week. Uens, who was not selected in this past weekend’s NHL Draft, reportedly had several teams taking interest; he remains draft eligible in 2020.

The Golden Knights Development Camp will be held from Tuesday, June 25 through Saturday, June 29.

Uens recorded 22 points (6 G, 16 A) to go with 34 penalty minutes in 34 regular season games for the Wellington Dukes (OJHL) and also added 10 points (2 G, 8 A) to go with 20 penalty minutes in 22 playoff games for the Dukes.

Vegas’ camp will be held at City National Arena.
