Women’s, Men’s Hockey Combine for 26 AHCA All-American Scholars

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass.—The Merrimack College women’s and men’s hockey programs combined for 26 American Hockey Coaches Association Krampade All-American Scholars, as announced by the association. 

To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.6 GPA for each semester from the past academic year, regardless of whether the school’s team was able to play in any games. The Warriors’ women’s team had 14 players honored, while the men had a dozen earn the distinction. 

On the women’s side, Bree Bergeron, Dani Castino, Mack Emery, Megan Fergusson, Carly Glover, Emma Gorski, Gabby Jones, Katie Kaufman, Courtney Maud, Natalie Nemes, Ally Qualley, Allison Reeb, Rachel Rockwell and Raice Szott all qualified for the award. For the men, Ben Brar, Liam Dennison, Dominic Dockery, Hugo Esselin, Filip Karlsson-Tagtstrom, Regan Kimens, Troy Kobryn, Mick Messner, Jacob Modry, Kevin Sadovski, Zach Vinnell and Mac Welsher were all named as recipients.
